Looking to correct these factory flaws and recreate an integral part of the half cab look, GR8TOPS recreated this part in durable and non-corrosive fiberglass for use with your factory CJ-8 half hardtop. The GR8TOPS bulkhead fits just like the original and only requires that you pre-drill the holes before mounting. This bulkhead can also be used on CJ7s and YJs when using a OEM CJ-8 half hardtop.
GR8TOPS recommends using foam and/or silicone sealant if you wish to semi-permanently mount the bulkhead into place for weather resistance. If you wish to permanently mount the bulkhead into place, we recommend using a urethane-based body seam sealer to seal the bulkhead into place before spraying bedliner or repainting your CJ-8.
This OEM bulkhead will probably NOT fit most fiberglass bodies or the Aqualu aluminum bodies as the inside of the both replacement bodies are a bit different than factory bodies. Aqualu does sell a specific bulkhead that will work with their aluminum CJ7 and CJ8 bodies.
The pictures shown have the pictures are with the standard black texture. The bulkheads can be shipped in a bare sanded primer format which is recommended if you are painting it to body color match your Scrambler or if you are planning on having the bed of the Jeep and bulkhead sprayed with bedliner. Otherwise the texture would need to be either sanded off to paint or scuffed for bedliner preparation.

GR8TOPS® can perform full installations and conversions in our shop in Lexington, SC. We also have our own spray on bedliner system to completely seal and protect the rear (or the full interior) of your Jeep after we install your GR8TOPS bulkhead.
