A special piece of art that hangs on the wall in the office of the shop came out today for the 4th of July parade in Gilbert, SC.

A 5′ x 8′ American flag that I’ve had since middle school rode proudly on top of the LJ. We creatively mounted it on a pole into the Hi-Lift jack handle. The flag has no special family military significance or heritage, just something I bought when I was younger and kept all these years as a reminder every day of the great country we live in.

The USA is still the best place on this planet to work, earn, live, cherish, give, spend, and worship. And we thank all of our friends, family and other heroes who help serve and protect that list of freedoms every day.

GR8TOPS is excited to announce that we now carry rooftop tent solutions for all Jeeps, trailers and anything with a roof rack and crossbars — the Safari Equipment “S” and “XL” tents.

Both tents have a sleeping area of 96″ L x 56″ W and are 52″ tall at the peak when unfolded. The XL model adds a canopy over the opening that has an available annex room with a floor to sleep up to two additional people.

In addition to having our new products on display and available, it’s a great opportunity for us to do some spring cleaning. Come pickup some Jeep items at our spring garage sale. We will digging out lots of factory take-off TJ and LJ parts that we have accumulated. check out various condition factory carpets, speaker pods, seat belts, soft top door surrounds, soft tops, soft top windows and lots of other miscellaneous parts. Come on out and see what you can find!

When you arrive, be sure to register for our free raffle drawing of a Jeep Jacket of your choice for your particular Jeep model.     We will also have free hot dogs, chips and a drink while they last.

If our parking lot is full, please use the Dance Techniques Parking lot on the Laurel Rd as overflow.

GR8TOPS will be a supporting vendor this Saturday at a local event here in Columbia, SC.   If you’re in South Carolina, come on our to the event that will be held from 9-4pm.   The event is being put on by OFFROADSC.COM and our local Jeep Club Mid Carolina Jeepers.

GR8TOPS will have a vendor both at this event with the Safari Cab LJ and possibly another new variant of the Safari Cab.  We will also be bringing out a lot of our take off parts to sell at the swap meet area.
