Easier to deploy than assembling a full hard top and with much better coverage than a bikini top, Jeep Jackets are ready whenever you’re caught by the weather or when you’re done playing and want to cover your Jeep for the night. This specific model of Jeep Jacket fits over your factory One-touch Skytop when you have doors removed and/or your rear hardtop side panel is removed to provide all weather protection. Leave the house for the day with your Jeep Jacket and confidence knowing you won’t get the interior of your jeep soaked if a quick thunderstorm approaches.
With the invention of the One-touch Skytop on Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we had lots of requests for a Jeep Jacket that fit over the hardtop but still covered the door openings and the rear panel opening when they are removed. The one-touch Skytop core portion of the hardtop does not actually remove from the Jeep and the motorized roof panel retracts. So, this very specific Jeep Jacket fits over the hardtop and assumes the motorized roof panel is closed. This has 10 straps that come down and attach to the frame or running boards to pull the JeepJacket tight.
The Jeep Jacket for the skytop was designed for the skytop to be in closed position. The Jeep Jacket will not fit properly with the one-touch Skytop in the retracted position.
GR8TOPS Jeep Jackets are constructed from high-quality waterproof vinyl-backed material and are made to cover the Jeep from the windshield back —including the full door openings. Jeep Jackets are equipped with ten straps to ensure they stay in place in any wind or weather. All of our webbing is high quality and military spec webbing. The snap hooks that are attached to the straps are metal with rubber coating and will not break at first pull like most covers that use plastic snap hooks.
This particular Jeep Jacket will fit also over your factory (non Skytop) hardtop. Even if you don’t have a Skytop version of your hardtop and your doors and/or freedom panels removed, this Jeep Jacket will still work with your 2018-Current JLU (all trim models) with the factory hardtop. Although we highly recommend that put your freedom panels in before you install the Jeep Jacket, it will fit without freedom panels installed. However some pooling may occur over the freedom panel area. Speaking of “pooling”, a $1 pool noodle at dollar general laid across your soundbar will help create a crest in the Jeep Jacket to help keep pooling to a minimum. The Jeep Jacket has a flap and velcro relief if you doors are still attached (as shown in pictures on the yellow jeep). If you doors are removed, the flap folds over and velcros shut for complete coverage.
The Jeep Jacket will NOT fit or work with windshield light bars or limb risers.

When you’re ready to play, it takes no time at all to remove and store so you can hit the trails. All covers include a compact bag to easily store your Jeep Jacket when not in use and the small folded size can stash easily inside the Jeep.
