JK rear weld in bed sheet metal

Description

This is a piece of precision laser cut 14 ga sheet metal to weld into your 2 door JK or 4 door JK after the Recruit half hardtop conversion is done. The JKs have 2 recessed deep well cavities in the rear bed area that make the the floor very ugly and unusable after the carpet is removed. After the bed is converted with our 2 Door Recruit half hardtop, you can weld in this panel to make the bed much more functional. The seat U bolt seat hooks for mounting your rear seat need to be either cut or you can cut holes in the panel to go over the top of them. The rear opening is laser slit to easily fold the floor piece over and angle into the door opening. We recommend stitch welding in the panel in all the way around into place and then using some of our urethane body seam sealer completely seal the bed. Follow this up with a spray in bedliner product and the bed becomes much more functional and pleasing to the eye. Comes in raw steel and MUST BE WELDED in. This is NOT a bolt in panel.
